Fire Risk Assessments

The fire assessment identifies potential fire risks and offers solutions on how to manage the risk down to an acceptable standard in line with the requirements of The Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005. Working across the UK, our team of trained Fire Risk Assessors have experience of all types of premises large and small. We provide customers with suitable and sufficient fire risk assessments that highlight good practises and deficiencies. 

Significant findings are prioritised in an easy to understand format, this allows the management and staff of your company to deal with any shortfalls in fire safety provision. Photographic evidence is shown within all reports. 

You will also receive any documents that maybe required by local authorities including fire log book to record weekly tests, servicing and other relevant information.  You will receive a fire logbook that gives advice and covers the following subjects: 

  • Fire drills

  • Emergency lighting 
  • Visits from your fire brigade officer 
  • Miscellaneous equipment 

Annual reviews can be scheduled to ensure you continue to fulfil your fire safety requirements.

It is part of the fire safety provision of a building and a requirement of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

On completion of a fire risk assessment, the current or necessary type of fire alarm system will be identified.

BS5839 for the Design, Installation and Maintenance of Fire Detection & Fire Alarms, details the specific requirements for detection & alarm equipment to satisfy the Fire Precautions Regulations.

Regular reviews of your Fire Risk Assessment will be required to ensure any changes within your business or building layout are still compliant with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
